AI Referral Lab

Finding your audience in the AI era.

• AI is now the curator
2026-09-11 · Finding your audience in the AI era means doing two jobs: get noticed by AI, then earn the relationship yourself.
• You can only optimize what you measure
2026-09-11 · AI bots don't run JavaScript, so most analytics never see them. Count them at the edge, then find out which pages they're skipping.
• Most of your AI referrals are hiding in Direct
2026-09-11 · Analytics only spots an AI referral when the link carries a tag or the browser passes a referrer. The apps mostly do neither. Everything else lands in Direct.
• AI can send someone once
2026-09-11 · Getting noticed by AI gets someone to your site once. Bringing them back is your job. A report built around that.
